Scott Siegal, an 'actor' who sported a role in the recently acclaimed movie The Wrestler, apparently tried to exit stage right when the New York police found a huge stash of anabolic steroids in his hideout. Interesting that Siegel played a steroids dealer in the movie. Life mimics art? To the PW News:
According Detective Glen Spinner of the New Rochelle, New York Police Department, a search of a town home owned by Siegel's parents yielded approximately 1,500 bottles of anabolic steroids and $30,000 in cash. A subsequent search of the actor's home turned up an additional $70,000 in cash.
As for the chase that Siegel led police on, officers initially tried to block in the 34 year-old actor's SUV with four cars. Siegel promptly rammed three in an effort to successfully free himself. During that time the accused also struck an officer with his car who was on foot.
