Dr. Phil Astin, who supplied Chris Benoit steroids and HGH among other drugs -- pleaded guilty to 175 charges of illegal prescription drug distribution. Benoit, the WWF wrestler suffering from concussions, drug abuse (anabolic steroids, HGH, narcotics, benzodiazepines, alcohol) killed his son, wife, and himself on a weekend rage rampage in 2007.
Dr. Phil Astin entered the new plea to a 175 count indictment in court on Thursday.
The indictment charges Astin with conspiracy and illegal distribution of prescription drugs. The charges are not related to the 2007 of Benoit, his wife and the wrestler's son.
Benoit was taking anabolic steroids when he killed his family and then himself in their Fayette County home.
Astin's attorney portrays him as a country doctor willing to bend a few rules to try to ease his clients aches and pains.
Astin will be sentenced in May.
What happen to Dr. Phil Astin after he pleads guilty?

I know that the sports entertainment and professional wresling business is a very competitive one. However, there is no reason for any doctor to ubuse the system and his or her power as a physician to prescribe substances that should not be prescribed. I notice this type of practice many times over. Most of the time, the doctor is just overwhealmed with the amount of patients that come in, so just to get them out of the office, they just write a script for pills and send them on their way. Doctors like this really cause harm, not only to their patients, but to everyone the patient is around. This is known as neglect. I think Dr. Astin should never get out of jail due to his neglect, for he contributing the double murder suicide. I also think that if he ever gets lucky, and gets released, that he should not only have his PhD revoked, but also the Dr. title as well. Do I think the steroids were the only cause for the tragedy, no. The steroids helped, but all of those chair shots, and flying head butts contributed to Benoit's dementia. Anyways, down with Dr. Astin!

I miss Chris Benoit in a wrestling ring. I think Dr. Phil has nothing to do with it.

The discovered many instances of him prescribing pills for people without having conducted physical exams and vastly over prescribing dangerous drugs like Percocet, Vicodin, and Oxycontin. The Atlanta Journal Constitution has more details about the sentencing and all of the charges he pleaded guilty to.

I'm interested in such offer,The sound quality in these podcasts is really poor. I feel bad about complaining about something that is free, but I think it is important.
