Roger Clemens will try to minimize damage to his convoluted defense by implicating his wife in HGH use, sources reveal. Clemens apparently will give up his wife in a desperate attempt to save his own injected skin. Reports indicated depositions last week in Congress back up McNamee's allegation of Rocket juicing.
Andy Pettitte's Congressional deposition last week related several episodes where he and Clemens discussed Rocket fuels like HGH. Pettitte reportedly referred to a 2001 discussion of HGH, human growth hormone. However the Rocket says Pettitte misunderstood his intention: Clemens was discussing wife Debbie's use of HGH to grow younger. (Seattle Times)
The AP source said Pettitte told Congress that Clemens backtracked when the subject of HGH came up again in 2005. Clemens reportedly told Pettitte he had misunderstood the previous exchange, which took place in 1999 or 2000, and that he had actually been talking about HGH use by his wife, Debbie.
Yeah, that's the ticket. McNamee was lying, Pettitte was confused, and the only juicer in the family was his wife. It will be fun to watch Clemens sell this one.
That's about right...the only juicer in the Clemens family is wife Debbie -- according to the Rocket. incredible, using the wife as an alibi.
Ever since the Mitchell Report came out with its damning accusation, that McNamee injected Clemens with steroids and human growth hormone at least 16 times in 1998, 2000 and 2001, Clemens has put back on his game face and come out swinging.
Just listen to the tape he made of his phone conversation with McNamee. To me, Clemens comes across as a bully, and McNamee seems scared to death of him.
Just watch the news conference at which he played the McNamee tape, when a visibly seething Clemens promised to answer all questions and ended up stomping off in anger.
Listen to the words of his attorney, Rusty Hardin, who said of IRS special agent Jeff Novitzky, the linchpin of the BALCO investigation, "If he ever messes with Roger, Roger will eat his lunch."
However this bully is turning on his wife? Incredible.
the information of this post is very relevant
