We will be enumerating media briefs as they are published over the next few days of the Mitchell Report. There will be a resource Page (developing). The Mitchell Report: Extra Innings in Baseball's Fight Against Steroids.

The New York Times says the report may contain some inconvenient harshness for some:
The person who read the report also said that information from Brian McNamee, a former Yankees strength coach who has worked as a personal trainer for Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte, had been provided to Mitchell’s investigators. It was not clear if McNamee spoke directly to the investigators, or if information he provided is in the report.
Newsday expands on this huge connection: Radomski-Brian McNamee. McNamee served as Roger Clemen's trainer.
The investigation's big break came with the bust earlier this yar of Kirk Radomski, a former Mets clubhouse attendant who distributed steroids to a number of players. The United States government let Mitchell into its investigation, and one source said that Jeff Novitzky, the IRS agent who has been behind most of the recent steroids busts, led the questioning in many of the inquisitions.
Radomski has ties with Brian McNamee, a person familiar with the situation confirmed. McNamee, a former strength coach, has worked with pitchers Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte, among others, for many years. It wasn't clear whether McNamee would be in the Mitchell Report.
We are getting Karmic vibes about the connection between Radomski-McNamee; that means The Rocket is in play. Perhaps in a big way. (A Google search says the Blogdome is getting the same vibes)
The Houston Chron says the report spreads the blame between the MLB front office and the MLBPA.
ESPN reported Wednesday that two lawyers familiar with the report said Mitchell will pin the blame for widespread drug use on Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association. The AP reported Wednesday that the 304-page report will point to MVPs and All-Stars and call for beefed-up testing by an outside agency to clean up the game...
