Reports say a Dallas-area 'trainer' will plead guilty to steroid trafficking; the man says he will cooperate with federal officials to name players on the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons who ordered PEDs from his website. The Dallas New/AP carries this story.
Local television station Channel 11 reported Monday night that a Plano-based personal trainer will plead guilty today to a federal charge involving steroids.
David Jacobs claimed on his supplements store's Web site that he offered guidance to Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons players.
Jacobs did not identify any players, but he told the station that as part of a plea deal, he will tell federal investigators about professional athletes who use steroids...
According to court documents obtained by the station, Jacobs is accused of conspiracy to possess anabolic steroids with the intent to distribute them from his East Plano home from October 2005 through last spring.
The indictment, filed in May, names Jacobs and three others. Jacobs also faces a charge of unlawful user of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm
This story appears to be generated by the accused/guilty man. Might be something there, might not.
