As reported by The Babes of Baseball, and Yahoo, Met's minor league pitcher Jorge Reyes just took a steroid needle low and away for strike two in the PED stakes. He gone for 100 games. The Babes say:
New York Mets' minor league pitcher, Jorge Reyes was suspended Tuesday for 100 games by the commissioner's office after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance, for the second time.
There hasn't been anyone stupid enough to become a repeat offender up until now. Reyes is the 12th player to be suspended for violating the minor league drug policy and of course, the first to enjoy a 100-game suspension for a second dumb move.
Reyes, a 22-year-old Dominican, made only one start this season for the Class-A Savannah Sand Gnats, allowing no runs on four hits in five innings of work.
This Jorge Reyes is not Jose, and is not the pitcher for the Washington Huskies, nor the musician..we hope.
Two suspensions for juicing? Obviously this guy doesn't know that HGH, IGF-2, and insulin are not detected by MLB's tests...
I’m glad to see this blog.informative and interesting
