You know..it sickens me to read this crap on the internet. It is an unfortunate world we live in when the only things that make headlines are scandalous and cheap. Has anyone ever published when an MLB player is an asset to his community-AWAY from the MLB? Do they publish when they are a pillar family man, an incredibly devoted father and a loyal friend? Ofcourse not...it doesn't sell. Why don't they just grab Bonds, string him up and make him fess up, rather than drag the good guys down who are HONEST with the world. He who walks with the Lord..walks the walk...you all just keep on talkin the talk. DLH is a GOOD MAN who walks the walk.

The Nation responds:

Considering the public nature of professional athletes, and the huge money they are given, it seems reasonable that the standard for behavior is high.

Yes, the news business is about troubles and problems, but it is also about guys who do things when they are making 12 million a year. That makes their frailties public. It also is of interest that they appear to be cheating for their stats, and money.

When you are high profile you expect coverage in the news. It's part of the territory.
