On this national holiday (Isn't everyone home, soaking in the hot tub with a lover, while the wife/hubby is at work? No?) how can Steroid Nation not pay homage to the hormone that is the engine of libido. No not chocolate, but testosterone.
While testosterone is responsible for primary and secondary gender characteristics in males, and estrogen plays the same role in women, testosterone is clearly the engine that drives the libido on both genders. We will not tell you the correct dose to change that libido, but suffice it to say, that aspect has been researched, and researched well by scientists with smiles.
Here is an article in the St Petersburg (no pun intended) Times for your intellectual curiosity.
