The head of the international ski federation fears for his sport, once reliable HGH tests begin ferreting out ski-dopers.

international alpine and nordic skiing, according to a gloomy
assessment by International ski federation head Gian-Franco Kasper.
FIS supremo Kasper says he fears the worst once watertight tests for
Human Growth Hormone have been established, with alpine skiing possibly
facing similar scandals the cross-country scene has been through.
"I foresee scandals in the alpine area and in ski-jumping as soon as we
can establish the use of Human Growth Hormone in a legally correct way.
"That could result in bad surprises. You have some suspicion
when you look at the athletes, their thighs. But no proof," Kasper said
in an interview with Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa at the world alpine
championships in Are which ended on Sunday
