Oklahoma State wide receiver Bo Bowling will be looking at a nasty 7-10 split (and we don't mean pins) if convicted on three felony counts for drug possession. One of the drugs the OSU transfer possessed was an anabolic steroid. (Apparently he was a 'possession' wide receiver) To the Stillwater News-Press:
Wide receiver Bo Bowling, 21, a Tonkawa native, appeared in Payne County District Court on Friday afternoon for a preliminary hearing. After the two-and-a-half-hour session, Special Judge Phillip Corley ruled there was sufficient evidence for Bowling to stand trial.
Bowling is charged with one count of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of controlled dangerous substances that include Alprazolam - the anti-depressant commonly known as Xanax - and the anabolic steroid Stanozolol.
Wonder if OSU coach Mike Gundy will reiterate that "I'm a man", during the trial? That's why your wide receiver had some Winny on hand.
Been some trouble with 'roids down in Oklahoma these days...
