Continued story...Olympic doping violations II: Russian race-walkers and cyclists

The Mail On-line looks at the most recent Russian doping suspensions:

2. Race walkers Vladimir Kanaikin and Valery Borchin tested positive for the banned drug EPO in out-of -competition tests in April, it was revealed.

The purge of Russian drug cheats continued when two walkers were kicked out of their Beijing team for failing dope tests.

Also Russian cyclist Vladimir Gusev will not be allowed to compete in the Games after his professional team fired him last month on suspicion of doping - even though he has not failed a test.
