Top ten human train wrecks in sports: Pumped up on steroids
Jeff Gordon of Fox Sports compiled a list of the Top 10 Human Train Wrecks in Sports History. Steroid use played a significant role in many of these athletes. The Top 10:
10- Mike Tyson
9- Dennis Rodman
8- Jose Canseco
7- O.J. Simpson
6- John Daly
5- Tonya Harding
4- Pete Rose
3- Diego Maradona
2- Denny McLain
1- Tommy Morrison
The most obvious juicing occurred with Canseco; however Tyson, Maradona, and Morrison also allegedly juiced. Pete Rose admitted to speeding. Dennis Rodman went into rehab. Denny McClain was convicted of cocaine dealing Tonya Harding and John Dlay could share a small keg considering their alcohol use. This is a list to steroids, street drugs, and booze.
Speaking of "Juiced" here is Jose Canseco's entry:
Jose Canseco
His post-baseball dream was to become America's next great action hero. But Chuck Norris he was not. He landed a spot in "The Surreal Life" with other cultural cartoon figures. Acting roles proved hard to come by, though, and he failed to generate Hollywood interest with his life story. Lenders recently foreclosed on his Southern California home.
Personal Issues: Steroid abuse, divorces, financial problems.
Legal woes: Domestic assault, aggravated battery
Professional lowlight: Fly ball caroming off his skull and over the outfield fence for a home run.
Cash-in: Burned former teammates with sleazy tell-all books "Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big" and "Vindicated."

Does anybody believe that Mike Tyson was not juiced? All that aggression and power were not natural.

Where does Todd Bertuzzi fit in? If Tonya Harding makes the cut because she arranged to have her chief rival whacked in the knee, then a guy who successfully finished an opponent's career has to make the cut too.
