Steroids and HGH keep Tejada young: fibbed about age
No doubt about it, Miguel Tejada's steroid use shaved about 2 years off his chronological age. The Chicago Tribune carries the story about the Tejada Fountain of Youth:
Houston Astros shortstop Miguel Tejada told the team he's actually 33, two years older than he's listed in the club's media guide and other baseball records after being shown a copy of his birth certificate by ESPN.
Saying he wanted to rid himself of a burden, Tejada approached general manager Ed Wade and asked to correct misinformation he gave the Oakland Athletics when he signed in 1993.
"I was a poor kid," Tejada said before the Astros finished a three-game series against the Phillies on Thursday. "I wanted to sign a professional contract, and that was the only way to do it. I didn't want or mean to do anything wrong. At the time, I was two years older than they thought."
Look how mean ESPN is:
ESPN said it showed Tejada a copy of his birth certificate from the Dominican Republic during an interview Tuesday. Tejada said at the start of the interview that he was born in 1976. After he was shown the birth certificate, he walked out of the interview, saying: "Right now I just play baseball bro'. I just play baseball, and I don't have to be here to talk about this."
Tejada, who made the roster of the Mitchell Report, and whom the FBI currently holds a great interest, used anabolic steroids and HGH. Both drugs are used in California anti-aging clinics. So what's the big deal, Tejada is simply staying young with HGH.

so is tejada's decline in productivity due to his age, the drying up of his hgh supplier or a combination of both?

Interesting comment. Maybe Tejada should try one of those other anti-aging techniques. Would the oxygen chamber work for him?

So what, if tejeda is using GH and lying about his age. There are mammoth of individuals in society who wish they would be able to do the same and get away with the lie. Regardless, there is always an alternative to steroids and HGH, simply using supplements that are neare as potent as the drug. ESPN is just doing there job and finding something to talk about.
