An Arizona jury laid down a murder-2 conviction for Loren Wade, the ex-Arizona State football player we reported on earlier who found with steroids in his blood. Report here by AzStarNet.
PHOENIX — Former Arizona State running back Loren Wade was convicted Thursday of second-degree murder in the slaying of another ex-Sun Devils football player.
The 23-year-old Wade was on trial for first-degree murder in the death of Brandon Falkner, who was shot outside a Scottsdale nightclub on March 26, 2005.
Prosecutors claimed Falkner was shot because Wade saw him talking to his girlfriend. Falkner was 25.
Wade faces a maximum of 22 years in prison when he's sentenced. No sentencing date was immediate.
We went into the case more in depth when we reported that the ex-RB Wade, who shot his teammate in front of many witnesses, showed anabolic steroids on his blood test. We don't believe this evidence was allowed in court, however.
Wade was angry about a female ex-girlfriend soccer player before the shooting.
The Wizard of Odds report here. The Wiz also noted that the dead player's (Brandon Falkner) father is suing former ASU coach Dirk Koetter.

That's awesome. I'm so glad you started blogging and that I can call you my friend. Keep posting and I'll keep reading.

These are probably more comfortable than the mary jane type MBT. They are not as high. From the first time I wore them they were extremely comfortable, no breaking in period. I got them for casual wear but use them in work a lot because I like them better than the mary jane style. I work 12 hour shifts in the nursery, on my feet the whole shift. Never a problem. The straps can be worn at the ankle and in front. Nice for slipping on and off if you get hot. I ordered a half size larger. Worth every penny you spend.
