You can't tell the Ferentz's without a program. Iowa City is in a Ferentz-y.
Iowa’s first in-state recruit in the Class of 2008 is no surprise, as the head coach’s son, James Ferentz, gave his verbal commitment to the Hawkeyes after receiving an offer earlier this month. The 6-foot-2, 250-pound Ferentz attends Iowa City High School, where he plays for head coach Dan Sabers...
Talk about nepotism (smile). James Ferentz' coach at City High is Dan Sabers, who's son Michael Sabers is a tight end on the Hawkeyes. James Ferentz' brother is Brian Ferentz, who started 4 years on the Hawkeye line, and whom spent some time with the NFL Atlanta Falcons.
In between fathering linemen, Kirk Ferentz coached at Iowa, Maine, for the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, and currently head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Wonder if there are any more linemen
crawling hitting people around the Ferentz house?
Let's hope the Coach hasn't text messaged the recruit too much.....
