Remember the talk about Albert Pujols last year? Yeah that talk, about anabolics specifically HGH. How he trained with Mike Sweeney and Jason Grimsley. Yeah that Jason Grimsley, the HGH user. How Pujols power output rose dramatically over his career. The connections were discussed at Deadspin.
That talk seemed to settle down. Then yesterday, Dan Patrick and his sidekick Keith Olbermann noticed Pujols is more compact. Well, take a listen:
The two also discuss Barry Bonds' increased physical size. (thanks to Tony J for hearing this discussion, then finding it on MP3)

I love circumstantial evidence.
From The Nation:
Or circumferential :-)

Does it ever end?

All you hypocrites who want Bonds and Canseco to take all of the blame need to pursue with vigor the obvious other users. Many current players have inflated power numbers from past use. Why are these people not called forward and made to address just like Bonds??????????????????????????????????????????
Is it that he's African American?

Have you seen his hair fall out the last 3 years? He's bald now, as is alot of other players. One has to remember that baseball hardly tests in the off-season (1 in 30 chance), and I believe if you hang out outside the US in the winter, no testing. Some roids will last well into the season. And HGH is readily available in the DR.

One correction, some roids effects will last well into the season, not the roids themselves, You will test drug free by spring training. And I think La Russa, Torre and fans look the other way. It's about time managers answer some questions. They knew what was going on, and still do.
